From “The Thieving Magpie” (Subtitled “La Gazza Ladra”), a 1988 double live album by the British (Formed in Aylsebury, Buckinghamshire) Neo-Prog band. This album is the last release to feature the band’s original singer/frontman Fish, and as such is considered a farewell album for him (Though he’d resurface just a couple of years later with his debut solo album). The title is the same as the subtitle - “La Gazza Landra” being Italian for “The Thieving Magpie”, and it is a reference to the composer Rossini’s opera of the same name.

This is all from disc 1 of a CD rerelease of the album I picked up back on Boxing Day.

From the late** English (From Liverpool) guitarist, singer and songwriter (an ex-Beatle, of course)’s tenth solo album, the Synth Pop/Rock album “Gone Troppo” (1982)

The album’s title an Australian slang, meaning “gone mad or crazy due to tropical heat” or just “gone mad”.

*This song was originally written by Harrison in 1968 while he was studying Transcendental Meditation with the other Beatles in Rishikesh, India
** He passed away in 2001
