Both? It got a proper finale, but the final season itself got cut in half from what it was supposed to be (I’ll give you three guesses as to who made that decision, and the first two don’t count).

“Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man” hasn’t even premiered yet and Disney has already renewed it for a season 3
They are putting a lot of hope behind this show

I’m not giving up.
Remember that time SpongeBob when was just straight up racist against Shark Folk in an attempt to get Goo Lagoon cleared out?

It’s greed. It’s always been greed. Why else do you think these pigs are getting away with charging 18 fucking dollars a month for a STANDARD streaming plan?

Box office report this week:
- Flight Risk- $11.58 million domestic (NEW)
- Mufasa: The Lion King- $8.59 million domestic (-28.7%); $220.98 million domestic overall; $627.5 million worldwide
- One of Them Days- $8.01 million domestic (-32.2%); $25.13 million worldwide
- Sonic the Hedgehog 3- $5.32 million domestic (-38.2%); $225.91 million domestic overall; $446.4 million worldwide
- Moana 2- $4.20 million domestic (-30%); $449.9 million domestic overall; $1.027 billion worldwide
- Presence- $3.33 million domestic (NEW)
- Wolf Man- $3.25 million domestic (-70.2%); $17.66 million domestic overall; $27.54 million worldwide
-Many of the movies came below their estimated weekend gross due to the NFL games on Sunday. “Flight Risk” is no exception; it was projected to make $12 million on its opening weekend. This is also a pretty weak opening number for a $25 million film. I don’t expect it to do well in the box office due to its poor reception from the critics and the audience.
-Another great hold for “Mufasa.” It’s amazing to see the film stay at the top 2 on its weekly AND daily totals so far.
-“One of Them Days” is one of the films where its actuals didn’t come below its estimates. It’s doing pretty well for an R-rated comedy.
-Congratulations on becoming the 2nd highest grossing video game movie of all time, “Sonic 3!”
-I haven’t mentioned this earlier, but “Moana 2”‘s late box office legs have been impressive. Its daily totals fell behind “Wicked” last month, but due to “Wicked” going on PVOD on New Year’s Eve and the lack of competition from other family films, it started to pick up its pace this month. I have a feeling it’ll start to lose its pace since the film will come out on digital tomorrow (Jan. 28th) and will have to deal with “Dog Man” later this week.
-Based on its box office numbers, it looks like people were turned off by “Presence”‘s misleading marketing. The film’s trailers made the viewers think it was a horror film when it really wasn’t. The film’s budget is only $2 million, so I think it should still make a small profit in the end.
-Woof, man! A 70% drop on its 2nd weekend is an absolute disaster! Congratulations on becoming the first box office flop of the year, “Wolf Man.”

Luna Snow will appear/cameo in the upcoming Spiderman show.
I know animation takes a long time to make so it could be a coincidence. But I can’t help but wonder if this is due to Marvel Rivals nonetheless.

Luna Snow already existed in one of the mobile games long before she became comic canon, and this Spider-Man cartoon has been in production since 2021/23, long before Marvel Rivals

So yeah I think this is just a funny coincidence

Yeah but like she just had that one game and like 2 comic appearances.
I don’t think Rivals can take credit but it’s still odd that that a nobody has made a couple appearances so close together after so many years of nothing.

70s films: Dealt with sex, criminal life, corruption and decay of American people.
70s cartoons: “I would’ve gotten away with it too if weren’t for you meddling kids!”
I love how that era could be so edgy and cutesy at the same time.

Same could be said about the 1980s, which had stuff like “The Temple of Doom,” and “Gremlins,” Inhumanoids, Garbage Pail Kids, and then stuff like “David the Gnome,” or “Rainbow Bright.”

Come to think of it, every decade has it’s edge, and cute stuff.
The ‘90s had Simpsons, Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, South Park, and then stuff like Tomagochi, Pokemon, Blue’s Clues, and such.

2000s had the rise of Adult Swim, an edgier 2003 Ninja Turtles reboot, and then stuff like Hamtaro, and Curious George.

I just watched this video about a person who did a ton of research and shot down all of the false information surrounding “Captain America 4.” So many people want the film to fail for some reason….
The video is 18:44 long, so watch it if you have a ton of free time.

Turns out Sonic 3 had a deleted scene explaining how Robotnik survived the finale of 2. Agent Stone found his body after Robotnik’s fall, and took him to Mexico to have many surgeries to repair having all his bones broken and organs punctured. Stone then helped nurse Robotnik back to health.
I can understand why it was cut. It’s not that important to the plot of 3, but more notably you can only have so much gay before it hits critical mass.
