These people know nothing about history. There were LOTS of female warriors in the past, but they didn’t even bother doing a quick research about them. In Japan, there were warriors known as Onna-mushas, which were female warriors in pre-modern Japan. They not only fought to protect their homes from bandits, but they also fought alongside men during wars. Tomoe Gozen and Hangaku Gozen were two famous onna-mushas in media.

There’s an “Usagi Yojimbo” character named “Tomoe” too, named after her. The author of that comic Stan Sakai is very knowledgable about ancient Japanese culture, and the aforementioned comic is full of Japanese culture, and a love letter to it.

There are female warriors in other ancient cultures too, like Scottish, Viking, Spanish pirates, and such.
History is not always as “misogonistic” as people think.
