Sombrafication

I have been wondering about what’s been going on in the heads of the ponies who have been Sombrafied during The Beginning of the End.

What do you think they were thinking in their brains/what is King Sombra telling them?
What do you think made them empty and ignore anypony who try to snap them out of it?
What do you think their POV vision/eye sight looked like if you ended up being sombrafied?

For those enslaved by King Sombra, their vision/eyesight and perception might reflect a dark, oppressive, and distorted reality, symbolizing the mental and emotional control he exerts. Here’s how the field of vision might look in that context:
Darkened Hue: The world might be seen through a dark, smoky filter. Shadows could be heavier, with everything bathed in muted tones of black, gray, and dark purple, representing the gloom and despair caused by Sombra’s influence.
Tunnel Vision: The field of vision could be narrower, creating a sense of confinement or restriction. The periphery might be blurred or filled with shifting shadows, emphasizing the feeling of being trapped or constantly watched.
Glowing Eyes or Symbols: Since King Sombra’s magic is often depicted with glowing, sinister eyes, there might be moments where enslaved characters see faint reflections of these glowing green or red eyes in the distance or even in their own reflection, constantly reminding them of his presence.
Distorted Reality: Some elements of reality may be warped or disjointed. Buildings might lean unnaturally, objects may seem to shimmer or flicker as if unstable, and distances might feel stretched or compressed, amplifying the confusion and helplessness.
Crystalline or Fragmented Patterns: Given Sombra’s association with crystals, vision might occasionally fracture, like looking through a cracked or faceted crystal. These fractures could obscure or shift parts of the environment, further disorienting the viewer.
Flashes of Fearful Imagery: Random flashes of horrifying or anxiety-inducing visions, such as dark shadows, chains, or fleeting images of subjugation and torment, could break through the visual field, creating a sense of unease and psychological terror.
This distorted perception would heighten the emotional and psychological trauma of being under Sombra’s control, turning the world into a reflection of the fear, submission, and loss of agency experienced by his captives.
