It already has a lot of great features and they plan on adding more in the future, and personally, from a UI perspective, it’s very easy to navigate. It might just be one of the best Tumblr clones.
Only downside? At this point in time, it requires an invite or a single 5 dollar donation. The good news is that anyone who manages to join through any means gets 3 invites per week to give out.
I will be posting these 3 invites every week here so that everyone can have a chance to try Pillowfort, and I encourage everyone who already has joined to do so as well.
Come try Pillowfort today!
Something very important lost in the midst of a fustercluck is the importance of finding a new website to replace Tumblr after it committed sudoku by disallowing NSFW.
I think we can all agree that Twitter is a poor replacement for Tumblr and has the added side effect of bringing out the worst in people, so the sooner a better replacement is found, the better.
And some artists believe that replacement is Pillowfort.

*“Pillowfort.io is a new blogging website, made by people who grew up on blogging sites like LiveJournal and Tumblr. We wanted to make a user-friendly space on the web for creativity, communication and content-sharing. Pillowfort aims to be a hybrid of Tumblr, Twitter, and LiveJournal–keeping the strengths of these sites while compensating for their weaknesses. *
