The people that want to believe her will continue to believe her no matter what. If at any point something shows up that makes her look bad, you get a bunch of people yelling that she’s just a teenager, under a lot of stress, or just deflect entirely and rant about how much worse bronies//mlp/ are.
 
It’s been several months now where it’s clear that the people that support her (her, not DWM) are in their own little world and we’d all be much better if neither “side” heard anything from the other.

yeah that definitely sounds like auto-renewal. Even people who break into accounts just to taunt their owners do large sums, to show that ‘hey, dumbass, your password was easy peasy’ since they know credit card companies will 90% of the time reverse the charge. If it were really someone from 4chan she would wake up staring at a wall of PS4s and pizzas on her front porch. (or in my case, I would have made sure she wakes up staring at a wall of duplicate pony, because if she were a true collector there would be no greater bane than having to waste 40 hours a week dumping those duplicates to interested parties. It would be from something she supposedly likes, so there would be no throwing away, and no mass donation, because she would want to ‘ensure they each got a good home,’ which if you watch any show about crazy collectors is one reason they get hoarder-levels of junk built up, they don’t want to just give it away to someone who’ll futz with it a couple times then chuck it, they want to sell/give to only those who’d take the same obsessive care of said object.)

In politic they said, “lie, there’s always something of it that will stay.” In dwm they know this well, and they know that the powerful lie they made give a very strong emotional impact on those who believe them that isn’t completely washed by the truth.

Still doesn’t excuse her blatant adolescent behaviors. It’s a shame many western families see spanking and other sort of essential disciplinary measures as abuse. She WILL have to grow-up eventually, otherwise reality will bite her to dust. You throw a rock at a pack of wolves, expect to get mauled. We can paint them just as bad as they paint us. No offense to anyone out there. Of course, I’ve long outgrown these old misguided views of mine. BUT, PP is an living example of what once caused me to view Westerners/Whites as, lazy, rich, selfish, complainy, rude, racist, and stupid. Don’t get me wrong, every culture and backgrounds have their share of positives and negatives whether it be, hardworking and lazy, rich and poor, racists, etc

Because that’s just not how collectors function. (also why many toys are still around today). If a kid doesn’t mangle it beyond recognition, I would say you have a budding collector who’s simply yet to find his niche.  
And yea, I’ve seen this actually happen before. It most commonly happens with baseball card and stamp collectors, because they’re most likely to get a large collection at one time due to how small the objects are, the one I happened to see myself was a micro machines collector, who bought a large suitcase at one of those unclaimed baggage auctions. It was full of micro machines, and every single one she already had. Her hair just about turned white from shock and dismay. She spent nearly five months on MM forums and craigslist dumping them to other collectors seeking each particular car. The only things you’ll see collectors donate are things that have some giant number, like a 5 million print run and are still found on toystore shelves.

Hell, I play with them when I photograph them anyway. The point of a collection is to enjoy it, not to buy loads of it and hoard.

Also, if you look in the replies to Pinkie’s post, apparently, they’re complaining that Faust wanted to make Zecora a shaman, which apparently would have been “racist”.

Typical. A lot of these types hate Faust for being so cordial with the fans of her show, or bowing to pressure and not being extreme enough in her views.

I don’t think her behavior would be too different, if she would have been physically disciplined. I would imagine her using that as further ammunition about how terrible her family life is and garner further sympathy for herself – the situation was out of her parents hands from the start, regardless.
 
 
This whole thing is a farce and escalating it will only give her more followers and influence. The idea that we should strike back at her is the last thing anyone would want to do; I have no incentive to become like her, not now, not ever.
