I find it amusing that the original premise of the show, demon mercenaries killing people in the living world is being outsourced to some shorts while the main series focuses on a soap opera type drama

It’s probably what was originally planned, where Helluva Boss wasn’t as plot driven as Hazbin Hotel, but HH took longer than expected.

I don’t mind the dramatic and character driven moments, I am engaged in all of it even if some of it comes off as melodramatic and wangsty, but whenever a third season gets announced, I would like for it to do more stories involving the original mercenary idea since those were the entertaining episodes to me.
