According to some posts, the artist Wanda associated user Marconde passed away from post-sutgery complications on the 25th.

Can video become featured?

Yes. A lot have been. Just search for ‘featured image,animated’. Here’s one of my favorites that was featured.

There’ve been a whole bunch. A lot of these are GIF format, but webm are fine, too.

Ok thanks, but I’m talking about especially webm format because I rarely see any of it being featured.

Technically Plunger does have 1 featured image already and is not exactly unknown, but I like this image, so nominating it anyway.

These are from a less known artist. The latter depicts no ponies, only a griffon OC, so probably low priority.
