I understand that loosing something on the internet, being a cybernetic space with not real “tangible” stuff, cant be compared to a real life situation/object.
But having an artist silenced and destroying his work, even if he had to do it for himself, its maddening! And in the anger way of maddening.

Y’know.. I don’t even care that JJ’s done with Molestia. I didn’t really follow the blog to begin with.
It’s this wave of “we did it! if we whine loud enough, we can censor anything we don’t like!” that’s coming from the armchair activists and tumblr feminists that’s making this implied Thought Police of MLP a somewhat valid threat.
What’s the next target? Will they eventually succeed in stamping out porn from the cloppers just by making it harder to see/acquire/force all the artists to stop drawing it so they don’t have to deal with the drama one-by-one?

An artist is forced to give up something he enjoys to satisfy the whims of a brat who thinks the world should march to her tune. Yes it may be lewd and silly, but it’s still one person using force to censor another. In a small way we’re diminished by this.

I don’t like the prospect of any supporters of this farce of a campaign gloating as if they accomplished something.However it seems very apparent that JJ was tired of the blog and wishes to move on. First of all, let’s talk about “fakeness”. Tumblr girls are constantly complaining about not being a real fan of something dominated by men, but it’s okay to say the same thing to men.

Screw it, let 4chan do their job. This needs to be payed with blood, not just for Molestia, but for all the damages they have done to the fandom in general.
