That’s because there’s more flammable garbage inside.
Forget it,you cant pry open their “SatanHitler IDW must be burned” circlejerk even if you had a titanium crowbar
Even that wouldn’t be as bad because Griffonstone isn’t in their own country.
But living in one of their own cities? And they still overall know nothing about them?
Imagine if Griffon the Brushoff involved a barely-sapient griffon just coming in and fucking shit up, and the ponies talked at length about how they know nothing about griffons. Then Griffonstone comes along. It’s a bit surprising.
I’m not sure the writer of it cared much about lore.
It failed horribly on both the supposed “moral’s” execution, and keeping with the fairly simple lore we have until now. There’s just NO WAY you’re convincing me there’s Dragons living in one of their cities, while there’s virtually no books that say anything about them, ponies know next to nothing about them, and not even Fluttershy knew they could talk before she met Spike. Fucked up lesson aside, this breaks the lore too much to be considered even pseudo-canon.
It was long enough that the police had a regular beat there.
The area was a shanty, with run down, deserted and boarded up windows. I think it’s safe to say they where there a while.
There is certainly some implications there, as well as unanswered questions. Where the adult dragons born there, or did they settle there to raise their kids? How long is a “while”? If a small pony town can pop up in under a year like Appaloosa, how much longer does it take ponies or dragons to built cities with access to unicorn magic? Surely not as long as IRL.
It’s too vague to provide a satisfactory answer to the issue of dragon scarcity, so the comic definitely fails in that respect.
From seeing adult “dragons” there, alone with babies.
Generations? Where did you get that impression from?
Still leaves in the comic comments she made.
@MadVillan
It’s more of a joke that it got published than anything, and that its writer was so adamant that it was socially important. It’s a fucking My Little Pony EU comic, slow your roll.
@Background Pony #824B
How do you even seriously debate anything related to that comic. It’s just too ridiculous.
Dragons living with ponies for generations, yet ponies not having a shred of information about them? That makes Apartheid Africa look friendly.
Here’s a free English lesson:
Third-person personal pronouns often have an explicit antecedent – a noun phrase which refers to the same person or thing as the pronoun. The antecedent usually precedes the pronoun, either in the same sentence or in a previous sentence.
In this sentence, “Every time something bad happens, they blame dragons”, the pronoun “they” has an antecedent: “the unicorn police”. Context is important everyone!
And what the hell are you talking about “proud dragon heritage” for? Are you mixing up some fanfics with this comic, because there is literally no mention of “proud” anything or “heritage” at all in the comic. Those two words don’t even appear in the comic. You are posting blatant falsehoods.
