I wonder id both S0NY and Microsoft will go after Nintendo for stealing their Controller Patents.

Overall design = Microsoft
The 4 Blue LEDs (Player Nr.) = S0NY
Home Button Well Microsoft had it first, but on this it feels more like the PSX Button

Most controllers are good with enough practice and usage. But really it’s the “pick up and play” factor that makes or breaks a controller when people hold it for the first time. If a developer can’t make a controller to encompass a person’s hand correctly, or assumes we all have been living in a circus all our lives, then the system will burn faster than scouts during a pyro rush. Not a pretty sight.

The…wait, the sticks are ABOVE THE BUTTONS? Oh god that’s going to confuse the hell out of my thumbs.

At least they didn’t cram the analogs as close together as possible like the DualShock though, dear christ playing Playstation games hurts my hands so fucking much.

Don’t forget Nintendo was the one who started the trend of using a small thumb-sized, pressure-sensative, analogue stick, the rumble-pack, L & R shoulder-buttons, controller memory packs, and such.

Hate to tell you, but at this point any controller now in days is a knockoff of another when you get down to it, so your opinion on this means squat.

I’ve had a Wii since day 1 when they started selling them here and it still works just fine while all of my XBox 360 friends have had them red ring at least once I believe it was something like a 45 percent fail rate.

Nah, the Wii U still looks like a huge waste of money. Considering how well the first DS, DS Lite and 3DS were built I have the feeling that anyone that buys will paying for it more than once.

Dreamcast controller was pretty awesome and horrible at the same time. It had the VMU, comfortable bright buttons, triggers that had input sensitivity, and a rumble pack.

It was also a cumbersome bulky thing with a shitty D-pad.

The N64 Controller is the worst controller. I tried right next to the original Xbox controller.

to bad I’m not going to buy a wii u or any of the next gen consoles I decided to stop buying consoles after my ps3 and head straight to pc gaming. 5 consoles are enough for me.

I wouldn’t consider a cordless mouse very good for gaming. A lot of those can be glitchy as fuck right when you need them to work the most.
