Technicality, if the EQG versions of the Mane Six are not even different personalities why even bother saying they’re different characters? That’s really the biggest failing of EQG’s writing when you think about it, I mean if the EQG started off as the polar opposites of the Mane Six then you could claim they are different characters. But no we at Hasbro gotta make it easy for the dumb little snots watching who can’t possibly fathom a world where Pinkie Pie isn’t overtly happy or Rainbow Dash isn’t into sports etc. etc.
Which uses a different twilight that invalidates your idea, must be the same twilight.
Oops, that’s right, 25. I’m so used to anime and tv seasons being 26 episodes long that that’s what I registered the extra episode as.

Nah. Going by the first half, Twilight would make a good Satsuki, but after that the comparison falls flat. Twilight really doesn’t fit Ryuko in the least, so Rainbow Dash and Sunset would make a good Ryuko and Satsuki, especially if ||Rainbow Dash/Ryuko had a hidden connection to the Ragyo/Celestia || Twilight would actually be a perfect Hououmaru, especially after watching the 27th episode.
My thoughts exactly.
Though I never really liked Celestia as Ragyo. I mean, yeah, it does kinda fit, but where does that put Luna? As Hououmaru? Hell no, Luna’s much more than a simple henchwoman!
I just tend to go with Celestia and Luna as Satsuki and Ryuko. Cliched? Yeah. But it fits pretty well; Nightmare Moon could even fit in as Ryuko’s monstrous berserk form.
