Nestled between the ponies she loved, every breath filled Fluttershy’s whole being with a new emotion. Rainbow Dash had a nostalgic scent, a scent of nervous glances between fillies at school, of blushes and almost kisses and wings that touched for a little too long. It made her heart race with an anxious passion and at the same time warmed her heart with old memories and kept promises. Applejack smelled like the earth, like nature, and like home. Her scent held the feeling of a warm hearth, and good food prepared with care, and simple, earnest words of love. It always made her feel welcome and safe. For Fluttershy, there was no greater comfort than drifting off surrounded by the sounds, sensations, and scents of the ponies she loved.
