Yeah? That’s part of the game. Only that is when you do something good like cleaning up, that’s a way to the skateboard which means you climb that ladder. The Chute like eating too much food is bad that will cost you some spaces by sliding down.

As obscure as Rush’s Snakes, and Arrows Cover? Supposedly the basses of the Hindi Game we know today, as Chutes, and Ladders.

I’d link an online version to Joe Walsh’s Chutes & Ladders, but it looks like it’s too obscure for the Internets.

I like how they used most of the situations from the actual game (and even matched the big gain from rescuing the cat to boot).

What do you mean by FS accounting to something outside of the show?

Its kind of important to realize that the things that happen to the ponies aren’t mean to be REALISTIC for those ponies so much as things that 5-10 year olds will sympathize with.
 
The mane six are adults, but we have lots of kid problems here, like Applejack having homework, and rainbow dash is doing chores for an allowance, stuff kids will relate to.  
Heck, look at fluttershy: she’s eating all her vegetables to grow up big and strong (as it were), which isn’t something that would be applicable to the mane six since they’re adults and have stopped growing. (Barring twilight’s alicorn growth spurt)

Speaking of making sense, does anyone else think bicycle accident Pinkie Pie and cookie binge Rainbow Dash should be switched? Their consequences are for things the other seems more likely to do

The only reason she’s ever amounted to anything outside of the show is because people in this fandom have a strange desire to make “shy” and “cute” synonymous. Even putting that aside, though, she’s been a lifeless character to me most of the time since S2 for the very reason she’s all fuckin’ ladders in this board game - the writers play it absurdly safe with her because they know that people will threaten to cut a bitch if something slightly bad happens to their beloved Fluttershy, i.e. all of the rage I’ve ever seen at Gilda.
 
Not to say she hasn’t had her good moments or even that I dislike her (I don’t), but I can only handle so many damned episodes about a character overcoming shyness for the upteenth time, never to actually learn her lesson by the time a starring role comes around for her again.
 
So nahh. There’s being OP and there’s being put on a pedestal. Fluttershy is definitely the latter, and I find that to be irksome.

Also keep in mind RD’s only ladder starts on square 1, and since there isn’t any starting square I’m assuming that everypony begins there and thus never uses it.
