That’s what I figured, when I actually tried learning how to use imaging software that uses layers, I immediately dropped the software and went back to stuff that I could better understand, like drawing on paper with pencils. :p
But that’s where I was able to appreciate that video you uploaded that kinda showed a time lapse of you making a pony picture step by step, and layer by layer. “How can he keep track of all of those layers?!”

Maybe one of these days I’ll actually try making art in something like Photoshop or The Gimp, something that uses layers, so I can try first hand keeping track of all of the different layers that have to perfectly arranged above and below each other…

Yup, and those would be the oil based balls they make for just that purpose. I have no idea where one finds them (paintball specialty store?) but there are even ones that have odors mixed in.
I thought that might be the case about the waterbased paint. Imagine getting hit with balls of, say, oil paint, or gloss paint. That’d be a bitch to wash out! :P
And yeah, I imagine that their coats would be about the same amount of protection naturally as we get from wearing clothes. :)
All the paintballs I know of (aside from novelty ones) are water based. The last ones I was hit with didn’t even have a dye, just corn starch.
Also I hope their coats count as clothing or that could be painful.

I got hit in the temple from a 98 custom and an Angel… That ended my desire for paintballing.
