Yes. This fits with my own “gamer ponies” headcanon of Twilight being a retro gamer. Though I personally see her as playing old-school PC games, like for DOS and stuff. I also see her as liking Amiga games. But I think all this is more an example of my own biases in what kinds of games I like, though I do still associate old-school computer games with intellectuals like Twilight here.

In case anyone’s interested, here are my headcanon for what sorts of games the mane six like:

Twilight Sparkle - Old-school DOS/Amiga games (though she also like a few modern PC games, mostly RPGs and real-time strategy games) but also old-school games in general
Pinkie Pie - I think she likes indie games (she’d probably have a lot of laughs trying to play Super Meat Boy, especially on the later levels which are difficult as balls,) but especially the kind with colorful retro graphics (like Scott Pilgrim or AVGN Adventures)
Applejack - She likes Xbox shooters, but only the good ones like Halo (I hate CoD)
Rainbow Dash - She is addicted to Japanese scrolling shoot ’em ups like Raiden, Gradius, R-Type, DoDonPachi, etc. (because they involve flying, which she is obviously very good at.) And probably also run and guns like Contra, Metal Slug and Gunstar Heroes.
Rarity - Being the girliest pony, unfortunately her taste in games are probably the lamest out of all the mane six…I see her as mostly playing casual games for smartphone
Fluttershy - She loves Nintendo games I could definitely see her enjoying Pikmin, Pokemon and Animal Crossing because of her love of animals. She probably also likes JRPGs
