I just want to say this. At the wal-mart store I work at, one of the personal managers was making a posterboard to commemorate former US armed forces members who work there. She only had Army, Marines and Navy at first, I pointed out that she was missing Air Force and Coast Guard. She added them even though none of my co-workers from either of them.  
Just another way the Armed Forces are recognized. *Salutes

Yeah, I’ve known a few Marines and Soldiers that were like that. You don’t get that at all in the Air Force, and from the few Sailors I have known, it’s not in the Navy either.

The key word here is “looks”, i.e. the present tense form, as in how things currently stand. The way I described it is how it currently looks, as can be verified by looking in AFI 36-2903.
 
But, to be completely fair, I made my comment under the misunderstanding that modern uniforms were being used for the designs. I’m not familiar with the other services’ caps, but they look similar to what I’ve seen recently, so I thought the picture was showing the modern era’s uniforms. Whoops…

I love how when you go from “w/o cover” to “civi”, there’s a change in both hairstyle and wardrobe beyond simple removal of “cover”…

Not what the US Air Force service cap looks like… it’s the right color, but it looks more like the Army’s service cap, i.e. the top is blue like the rest of the hat.
