While I did find this funny, I also kind of found it frustrating in how true this is. Heck, this is pretty much how Apple Bloom’s Cutie Pox episode ended. She learned a lesson and then immediately went and did it again.
 
It’s like the CMC just don’t want to learn, even if everypony else is tell them that isn’t how you get cutie marks.

The punishment was for disobedience. If your mother told you not to steal that toy and you do it anyways, but at the same time you give helpful advice to someone who was having personal troubles, what do you think would be the result?
 
I know that my mother would not let me out of the house for a week without a good rearing and a long list of chores.

This scene annoyed me a bit. Yeah yeah, they shouldn’t have snuck out. But if they didn’t, Trouble Shoes would have continued ruining rodeos and never realizing what his talent truly was.
