There’s an achievement in Toki Tori for doing exactly this, more or less.

Think I should add a Kirby tag, seeing as the background is actually from “Kirby’s Dream Course.”

If YOLOshi’s Island is any indication, then nothing can pass through them. Maybe. Haven’t tried chomps yet.

To be honest, I much prefered “Yoshi’s Island” over SMW, and I prefer replaying it.
 
And technically, in Japan it wasn’t meant to be a sequel to SMW, as over there it’s instead titled “Super Mario: Yoshi’s Island.”

When I looked at the word tag stupidity’ She could be Lumpy from happy tree friends because of his stupidity also.

This game was such a disappointment. Maybe not bad but a huge step down from “Super Mario World” and without much replay value.

Well there’s only a few, but what I should of said “Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island” was the best and probably the only best game in the series. There are quite a handful of Yoshi games that feature him as the main protagonist instead of Mario, but those games have failed to surpass their predecessor.
 
“Yoshi’s Island DS” was the only Yoshi game I can honestly say came close to be the second best in the series, and would had been better if it didn’t had its own faults. This game have an actual running storyline, plenty of cutscenes, and added a new gameplay mechanic involving the babies abilities. This is by far the only Yoshi game (and possibly the only game) to have more information about Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, etc, on how they gain their powers, them being one of the Seven Star Children, and a bit more details on their lore.
 
As I said previously, the game had some problems in some areas. They took away the inventory to use and storage items, in-game music are nice, but the boss battle music was not motivating or interesting unlike the first game where it was upbeat, and the final boss battle was too easy.
 
“New Yoshi’s Island” tired to emulate the first game, but with a clay 2D style; didn’t work out well. Music was boring, especially for boss battles, and can be repetitively annoying, no inventory item system, the clay style is a nice idea, but it made the game muddy looking in some areas and bore to look at. There’s nothing really worthwhile to gain from the game other than exploration to get 100% completion and barely any story to add.
 
The only interesting details of the game was there’s a small floating Egg Planet hovering next to Yoshi’s Island, the game took place before Yoshi’s Island DS, babies are born (or possibly created) from a haven somewhere in the sky, and Bowser tried his hand again in time travel to change history (a last minute plot and Adult Mario was also there, but in disguise).

Wow…I mean, Wow. This is the first time I ever read that someone never played “Super Mario World 2: Yoshi Mother-Huffing Island”, instantly the best and probably only the best Yoshi game that ever hit the SNES.
