Serene is the result of an Alien, and a Monster Hunter and Metroid monster crossing through to Equestria from one of the cracks in the fourth wall (a similar crack is how Applejack disappeared one hundred years ago) simultaneously and fusing, then getting Harmony’d by the artifical Elements of Harmony.
Not those either. In Metroid Fusion, they rise then fall steadily, and go left to right constantly until hitting a wall, and they are mostly in the ARC sector.
