Ah, Animetal. I don’t like some of their covers, but others are great.
From the Super Robot Wars, I used to think Daitarn 3 was kind of lame, like Banjou was trying too hard to be cool or something. Then I actually watched some of the episodes and realised he’s deliberately being over the top, which then brought him over from lame to awesome.
Zambot 3, on the other hand…
Thanks to Animetal, I can sing Come Here! Daitarn 3! off the top of my head.
Was it Gravion? That sounds a bit like Gravion or its upgrade Sol Gravion.
I mean, with a name like ‘Sol’ Gravion…
there is a mecha that “creates suns” and its pilots where a guy with a bunch of…maids…
but right now i can’t remember its name.

And let’s face it, how many people will recognise Daitarn 3 over Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger or Grendizer?
Well, somebody has to provide the photonic energy.
Unless you knew that but wanted to use Mazinger Z’s suit because it matched her hair, in which case that’s cool.
