That’s actually a complete lie.

2012 Olympics Competitors:
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Gold in 100 m Dash, 5’0”
Carmelita Jeter, Silver in 100 m Dash, 5’4”
Veronica Campbell-Brown, Bronze in 100 m Dash, 5’5”

Meseret Defar, Gold in 5000 m Run, 5’1”
Vivian Cheruiyot, Silver in 5000 m Run, 5’3”
Tirunesh Dibaba, Bronze in 5000 m Run, 5’3”

Tiki Gelana, Gold in Marathon, 5’5”
Priscah Jeptoo, Silver in Marathon, 5’5”
Tatyana Petrova Arkhipova, Bronze in Marathon, 5’2 1/2”

That’s just a selection of different distances, there were some taller women in other running events, but this illustrates pretty well competitive runners can be short to average height and do really well.

Honestly I went up to the Marathon expecting the runners to get taller, but not really, they’re still around average height.

Either way Dash can be 5’0” and a competitive runner. Nothing says she has to be tall to do that.

Why is it so rare to have a taller Dash? No competitive runners are short.

Yeah. Applejack’s hat is tiny, her shirt looks like it’s a tiny top with a bow at the front that barely fits her rather than a shirt she’s tied at the front and she’s wearing jeans that are ridiculously low low-riders. Also Rainbow Dash’s hoodie is ridiculously short…
