That’s fucked up. At least they got her.
Yup. Crazy as f*ck. They caught her ON her way to Canada, where she was planning on committing the killing spree. Barely avoided a a tragedy.
Who knows?… Even if she was “all talk,” it’s still scary to see somebody consider committing acts of murder, and such, and they should be sent to the authorities for even considering it…
Not to mention she was a fan of the Collumbine shooters, and Hitler… Which kinda says something about her sanity, and morals… (Or lack thereof.)
Exactly.
But there has to be someone, somewhere, that would have focused on that.
It makes me uneasy thinking of what would happen if she wasn’t caught, and not because “muh fandom”
Creepy, at least they caught her before she could commit any violent acts. She sounds downright nuts, but it sounds like her MLP fandom was just a minor thing, and had nothing to do with her psychotic agenda.
Did you hear abnout that girl from Tumblr who was a brony charged with conspiracy to commit Columbine-style murder in a Canada mall?

Spooky sh*t
probably best not to. Who cares if a few people are gonna bitch and moan about their crack conspiracy theories?
in those with mental conditions.(They do, but God, no, they don’t affect regular people.)Yup yup
The one group I never thought would have a filter, uppity SJW types, don’t even seem to know/care. It’s a relief, saves me the energy I’d require to fight with a brick wall.
As I said before, though…I may just not be looking hard enough
exactly.
in all honesty though, I’m actually surprised that it wasn’t pointed out, it’s almost as if the ones who made the report have journalistic minds or something.. But jabs aside, I do think they all did good not to mention this, even if news of him being a brony might hit eventually.
Good, good
When I first saw this on >HN I hoped to Satan that nothing would come of it
Such a tiny irrelevant detail would no doubt be focused on to the point of absurdity if people chose to do so
no, most articles didn’t even seem to mention this, which is just as good, because that’s how much it is relevant to the committed act of crime.
Of course, I may just be looking hard enough.
I’m not trying to be an ass, but too many discussions rely too much on feelings and lose any kind of clarity because of it. I understand mourning for the victims, I’m feeling as much sorrow as I can as a stranger on the internet, but this talk about bronies being held responsible for this is utter crap, sorry to put it like that, it’s nothing against you guys personally it’s just that, you don’t even need to go that far as to justify (in your minds) that their irrational and completely asinine accusations matter at all.
I really like this quote and the reason I’m sharing it is because, it’s important to know about the events, it’s important to know about people, but when discussion takes place, I believe that this quote hits it straight on the nail that discussion should be held about ideas and not the person’s life or the event itself, even if the latter isn’t as bad as talking about the person’s life and coming to absolutely no conclusion.
it’s not absolute, but in situations like these we can infer this kid was obviously mentally not well, not saying he might have been insane, he seemed aware of his bad actions when arrested by admitting to having done a terrible thing. See, here is where most people would immediately start debating that “No, you’re wrong, he’s horrible and his regret doesn’t cover his crimes”.
I don’t care.. I wasn’t talking about absolving his crimes, I was just referring to how discussions about people usually go out.
bottom line guys, don’t bother talking or even so much as Justify to the opposition talking about this person being a brony that it actually matters. You’re going to give them ammunition if you defend yourselves, call them insane and unbelievably ignorant, because that’s what they are.. After all, Small minds discuss people like you and me based on these incidents, they are not fucking intelligent topics of discussion and they’re at worst destructive conversations to any individual.
Fuck those people who wanna pin this on bronies, tell them to choke on a dick, carry on and focus your minds on what actually matters.. like donating some money to this family who lost their to-be step father and sister, that’s what is important here.
and yes guys, I couldn’t care less about this bottom feeding sensationalist news that focuses just on the controversy, which is good that most news articles didn’t make mentions of the guy being a Brony.
Really, those topics of discussions are for the bottom feeders, the leeches of our society that will latch on to any controversy with so much of an after thought towards anything about it, just there to puke out their unadulterated feelings on the matter with no reason, understanding, logic or even purpose, really.
Yeah, not to mention I’ve seen other very painfully fabricated “horror” stories about bronies. Like one Tumblrina claimed some bronies harrassed her, and gave a very fake-sound story that she was rescued by a handsom Ryu (Street Fighter) cosplayer… (More like her own self-‘shipfic fantasy.)
Another tried to claim a brony at a convention was flirting with her under-age niece… Yet, during her whole rant/story, she never mentioned anything about reporting it to those in charge of said pony convention, or to the police, or anything… (Which makes the story quite suspicious, and even if it was true shows she was being negligent not doing anything about it… Apparently, she was afraid the evil bronies/men wouldn’t support/help her… Which shows she has a very dim-delusion about the male gender.)
Seriously, they lie so much it’s getting hard to believe any of their “horror” stories of bronies. Now I’m not saying all bronies are innocent, (I’ve dealt with some A-hole fans myself, and there ARE creepy fans out there) but still fighting B.S. with more B.S. doesn’t help, and just creates a “Boy/Girl who cried wolf scenerio.”
Don’t forget what happened during Everfree Northwest 2012, where someone on Tumblr claimed that she had been harassed at the con, only for everyone to find out later that she was in fact nowhere NEAR the con that day. Though to her credit, she actually admitted to lying about it and apologized.
Search up the “my little arsenal” tag.
Guve me an example?
Few years too late for that. Have you ever seen the comments on pictures of pony-themed guns?
Terrorists could be another one.
