Ofc extreme equality is bad, however most american movies/series/books seems to say that individualism is flat out superior to equality. Perhaps due to half a century of anti-soviet brainwashing.

Oh no don’t worry I’m not trying to purport it’s literally about Communism c: it’s just a colloquial shorthand for a perception of “forced equality” (even if that’s not at all what Communism is/means), which I think is a… fair inference from the commercial, and “forced equality because anyone being Better would be Bad” is a, well, Done story and one I’m not terribly fond of is all! But yeah, nooo claims that this is, like, actual Communism lol.

I can’t wait for this.

same tbh. I know it’s not the worst plot line and it’s not the end of the world, but I’m already sort of annoyed that on the surface this is already feeling like a sorta hamfisted “communism is bad k” moral? Like I already saw The Incredibles and Legend of Korra and played Pokemon Black/White, yep sometimes the person preaching that We Should All Be Equal just wants all the power for themselves!! That’s a thing!!
