She is the closest thing to a warrior princess we have. Twilight did that one thing, but only since she was borrowing Cadance’s magic as well.

We tried that in some of the designs but it became a bit too much of a cluster.
 
Also bear in mind this IS a magic universe we are talking about. And given this armor is an enchanted relic (it’s the original Crystal monarch’s armor), there probably is some magical protecting on it in addition to the plate mail.

We were going for a slight fantasy style as well as Greko styled armor, which doesn’t typically have a neck guard. We may add something in later though and hell with it, it’s magic armor so XD

I get a little geek-y when it comes to ancient armors, (or armors that look like ancient armors stares at Warhammer 40k) so this made my day.
 
Her neck is a little exposed though, but who cares? Princess Lovebutt the Love Maester Warrior looks kick ass!
