This is so wrong. A horse’s shoulder is up by the side of its neck, just like a human’s shoulder is up by its neck. This stupid wrong tutorial is responsible for so much bad fan art.

See how the “upper arm” is completely inside the torso, and the “shoulder” is right next to the neck? That’s how pony anatomy works.

there’s one joint missing in the red part for the pony. they can curl their hoof around just like a human can bend a finger. also the blue part in the foreleg should be entirely inside the body cavity for the most part.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Yea, the green part in the back legs would correspond to the foot in a human, while the orange/pink part would be the toe. The blue would be the femur, tibia and fibula.

That’s not quite right in the rear legs… the green bit would be the metatarsal, which is the foot on people, and the red bits would be like our toes.
 
I know it’s not supposed to be super-accurate, but I had to say something.
