Description
After a heartfelt hug, Nuk reads Obi’s mind to get a move on, and so they resume their walk to the destination where they’ll meet their friends…..
This destination happens to be none other than the humble little town of Ponyville.
Nuk makes note on how cute and cozy the town itself appears from a scenic hilltop about 50 to 100 meters away.
Obi then tells her that the residents who reside there are just like how she described the village.
The only difference is that they move around and say Hi! rather than stand in one spot looking pretty.

Hmm, Interesting voice choice for Obi!
I always sort of imagined him having like a very deep, laid-back sort of voice. Like whenever you would hear him talk, you would hear a low rumble along with his voice.
Almost like how real Elephants would create deep bellows and growls when communicating with each other, something like that.
But yes, I think he would also have the same kind of wise/intelligent voice as Mr. Attenborough, but not as old sounding.
He’s still sort of a young-ish adult Elephant who is roughly the same age as Nuk.

Funnily enough, i can’t help but read Obi’s voice without picturing
Sir David Attenborough.

The rest of your artwork is very sweet too.
I wanted to get to that part as well, but I want to pace myself before continuing on. If I did keep working on it non-stop, I would become tired and less motivated to continue on with it.
And Thank you! I was actually thinking about this same idea too, since this is after Obi and the Ponies became friends with one another.
Maybe when I start working on the next chapter, I can have Nuk ask Obi how exactly they met and then it would go into a flash-back sequence.
I just got to think of how and Elephant ended up in Equestria in the first place…..Maybe the other side of the Everfree??? We’ll see what happens.
I guess I’m that original! Or people just stick with pony characters most of the time.
I’m just glad that you and everyone else that has seen this comic has accepted two completely different species into the community without a problem.
It really shows how welcoming you all are!

In all seriousness though, this is a good start. Both characters are likable, and i would like to see them fleshed out more. Especially how they interact with the ponies. (maybe seeing how they met Obi in the first place)
An elephant and a rather tall antelope befriending the mane six (and others), why did no one else think of this?
