I prefer the Animal Comparison method, myself; assuming that all the various animals in Equestria that have Real World counterparts– bears, rabbits, ferrets, sheepdogs, mice, etcetera– and are all in correct relative proportion to them are probably the same size there as they are here… which comes out to roughly the same as the Candy Cane Method, maybe at the larger end of the scale.
According to “8ft Candy Cane Theory”, Celestia is about 4’10” and regular ponies about 3’5”.
This Luna plushie is 5’5” to the horn, so she isn’t small at all.
If only I had the few thousand dollars. lol

I saw a giant Chrysalis plushy when I went to Bronycon this year. Wasn’t as stable as this one, but it was correct in it’s form.

I believe it, beyond a certain size the price of a plushie increases exponentially.

You are kinda right. It’s $3000-3500 for a life-sized princess.
Given the price of some smaller plushies I would say the price of this actually would be worth a decent used car.
