Adagio: You really expect that to work?

Sunset: Yeah you’re right. (removes mistletoe from the line and hangs it over her stomach)

Adagio: (smiling as she kneels down) Much better!

Winter cold versus the Fire Princess? It’s not even a fight. That gorgeous mane (complete with magic-empowering forelock) must get pretty hot in the summer, though.

Brilliant though she is, Sunset is really lousy at identifying “unknown unknowns,” like the real appearance of mistletoe (unknown to just about everyone who doesn’t browse this site – except Adagio Dazzle, apparently). Still, under holly or under mistletoe, it’s amazing that Adagio is so frigid that she can just ignore romantic advances from no less than Sunset Shimmer…

Ah yes, Christmas is nearing and with them not only mistletoe pictures like this (that might wrongfully use a holly), but also the smartasses that always go “lol, it’s a holly, not a mistletoe”.

Fun fact: Until I browsed Derpibooru around Christmas last year, I didn’t know about mistletoe/holly confusion. Now, I wish I didn’t know about it.

Well of course Sunset’s epic-failing here. That’s holly, not mistletoe. Adagio knows the difference and is not impressed by Sunset’s ignorance. (in fact, considering Sunny’s supposed to be a Twilight-level genius, it’s a huge oversight on her part)

I’ll tell you what’s not fail - Sunny’s wonderfully short skirt. Hope the gal doesn’t get hypothermia or frostbite.
