Chrysalis is Lust, because she thrives on the power of love, and quite literally sucks Shining Armor dry. Ugh.
Sombra is Greed, because he craves “CRYSSSSTALLLSSSS” and power, no matter how he achieves his goal, be it through slave labour and harming others.
Tirek is Gluttony, because he seeks to absorb all magical energy, and because he, quite literally, eats it.
Sunset Shimmer isn’t anything, because she sucks.

And the fact NMM can shapeshift too as shown with the Shadowbolts(and takes it further by disguising as multiple beings at once instead of just one as shown with the multiple Shadowbolts)
I’m confused–do you think shapeshifting is an Envy power or are you assuming that this is meant as an FMA crossover and not just a general fan thing?
If the latter…you do realize that Hiromu Arakawa didn’t invent the concept of the Seven Deadly Sins, right?
I think even if you could make an argument for that, Nightmare would already have too tight a grip for it.

I think this image is just meant to represent all the show’s Big Bads (if it were a pic of the Mane Six and Spike then yeah, Rainbow would either be Sloth or Pride).

Exactly, Chrysalis is the closest thing to a succubus this franchise is ever going to get. Therefore, she’s an immediate candidate for representing the sin of lust.
No, love is not the same as lust, but she comes far closer to representing that one that any of the others do.
