Well that’s pretty much why I said “addressed halfway…then chickens out”
 
The script LITERALLY looked like it was completely altered at the last few weeks of post production out of fear of character development.
 
The books she was bringing were one’s she had the least attactchment to and needed to make space, so the focus for her was her being a bigtime princess and any items belonging to her were valuable…the curse of being a celebrity/royalty…
 
…but that lesson completely diverged into how she wasn’t going to get rid of the books she had every intention of getting rid of before hand. (on a side note: What is it with this season and clinical hoarding? First Granny Smith’s cousin, now Twilight?)
 
If there were no other books worth less to her then those chosen just to make space, that makes no sense whatsoever.
 
 
Its rare that an episode chickens out and alters its good lesson half-way through or near the end. But its happened more then once with Princess Twilight episodes.
 
Like Twilight not having to admit she had been had by Discord by Cadense saying being a ~4-6 month newly wed and Princess of a magical crystal kingdom and having 2 life-threatening situations recently…was boring. Not only does that seem forced, and not to be crude, but is Shining that bad in bed?

Give Rainbow Falls some credit, they at least noticed in the last episode, though the impact to her character was zilch.

I don’t see how a 14 episode delay from reality is actually a good thing. Last I checked, inconsistencies and handing the stupid pills to the populace of Manehatten and Rainbow Falls isn’t a good writing technique.
 
In the comics, being turned into an alicorn princess has made her realize how she DOESN’T want to be an alicorn just like Celestia, but instead wants to be more like the unicorn wizard Starswirled the Bearded.
 
In the episodes, her being a princess is either ignored due to plot, addressed too late, or addressed halfway…then chickens out. No character growth ALONG with the inconsistancies and stupid pills.
 
Can anybody list a single GOOD THING about Twilight being a princess? Especially within the series.
 
With Fluttershy, this theoretical half-vampire thing would be an aspect about her that only her closest friends would know about, and it wouldn’t be relevant in most episodes, but would further her character growth and abilities in more adventure themed episodes.
 
With Princess Alicorn Twilight, its a giant elephant in the room that no one wants to address but everyone with half a brain would see and bow. Maybe not the citizens of Ponyville who know them as local heroes, but anywhere else she would be mobbed.

And which didn’t even happened in the latest episode with Rarity in Manehattan. Twi didn’t even got a cab nor did anypony bothered to bow to her. ^^

You mean before her coronation? Yeah, and it was just as silly back then, but now we also get to enjoy goofy plot devices like an alicorn-only potion being carried around by a zebra for some reason.

Meh, alicorn Twilight was much worse to me. Fluttershy may have pointy teeth, but at least no one is bowing to her as she walks by, or expecting her to be the primary mover in saving the world every Tuesday.

nope. I also don’t like all this “Flutterbat” stuff, especially the fact what Fluttershy can still be a vampire. She’s becoming some kind of Mary Sue to me, personally. Even alicorn Twilight is more okay because creators don’t actually show a lot of her “GLORIOUS LEVEL-UP PONY AND HER LAME FRIENDS”, she casted interesting spells in last seasons as well. But Fluttershy…God, if writers will begin to use her possible vampirism, then every moment with it will be like “Now she’s not only a stare master and god of chaos owner, but also a pony with badass powers who takes all the attention of viewers”. That’s horrible. She already took the “Bats!” episode, though a lot of people hoped what it would be an Applejack’s one.

Ehhh, I wouldn’t want them to make her even more off-putting.

Changing these characters that grew closer to me than anything before is a bit…difficult for me to put with, especially since I have Aspergers.  
It’s like Twilicorn. I stopped complaining about it long ago, but I am still not okay with it. First time I heard about it I freaked out in class, so I am actually glad “Bats!” happened when I was on holiday… That’s fucked up, isn’t it? :-/
