X6 was my first privately owned MM game, actually. Translation was atrocious but other than that it was alright. High Max was pretty cool.
The only good thing about X6 was the music. Otherwise we could have just skipped to X8 and intro’d Axl as a rookie rather than the Red Alert defector he was in X7, which was also bad with just four words.

Not to mention I didn’t like X and Zero’s VAs in X7. Lucas and Mark got it right in X8 and MHX.
