…But there is the hilarious thought that everyone believes Rarity has slept with everyone else and no one wants to date her now, even though she’s never had sex at all.

There is a way for Rarity to be a virgin. She’s would be saving herself for her prince charming or knight to sweep her off her hooves and all that. She’s got a faithful heart of gold, so it’s more likely than one might think that she’s saving herself.
 
She’s got this romantic, fairy tale notion involving relationships, and wants a long lasting relationship, so I can totally see her as a “proud” virgin.
 
And considering how friendship and love (and the setting of the show) are actual pillars of strength and are a very big deal in that world, I doubt any of the characters would take something like this lightly.
