Unless if the cops are not around. Or else, he would get ticketed real soon.
Let me fix that…
Preaching to the choir on that one
I understand. I’ve got family like that too. He’s doing better than he was, which is huge for him. I just hope he sticks to it. He’s burned too many bridges to mess up now.
No comment. All I can say is that he’s doing well for himself, at present.

…Was he fine?

That was my little brother, at one point…

I’m fairly certain Leisure Suit Larry actually had something going for him.
No idea what, but I’m pretty sure he had it.
So what? This comic universe is not the same as the show. Spike also never pines over Rarity.
Yes, but as if it were a Mexican soap opera, he leaves all those plots aside to focus on completely new ones and then it takes forever to focus on it again.
and something that particularly bothers me is the way the artist writes to Twilight with his friends, from not having the slightest interest in what Fluttershy could be doing (like on a page where they didn’t see Fluttershy in days, Spike what highlights and Twilight is not interested at all), until trying to avoid Pinkie in one way or another. Yes, there was a moment when Twilight realizes that she has been despising Pinkie and tries to redeem herself but nothing more, there was no further development other than that and there was no development in the friendship between Moondancer and Pinkie.
I mean, I really like this series, it’s quite entertaining, but it would be nice if the author respected that the fact that Twilight lives in a castle and has the title “Princess of friendship” and its wings is because of her relationship with her closest friends.
Or that for something Pinkie has her cutie mark, you know she likes to make other ponies happy, but for some reason this role was taken away by Lyra
You seem to have very little confidence in the storytelling of this series, which makes me sad a little bit.
There has been so much that has developed. Spike and Starlight’s relationship and how that has come to what it is. You have Spike and Lily. You have Twilight continually trying to work out, she became a teacher at the community college. You have Soarin’ starting his business and gathering many friends in it. You have Moondancer who finally felt accepted more and in turn got her cat Pinenut, made friends with Pinkie Pie, and is now trying to make things better in her own way. You have Pinkie Pie’s arc where she sadly choose the regressive choice, but hopefully will improve with Moon. Twilight has kept her word and is spending more time with her friend’s. You have Rarity’s moment of all her stress and acts coming back to her and having friend’s pull her out of he plight like Twilight and Coco. You also have the ongoing arc with Twilight and Greg and how Greg is now with Coco. Oh gosh, there is seriously so much more. But so much of it is interconnected and weaving and develops overtime, just like in real life. It’s like a well written drama with comedy. You grow with the characters and go through there ups and downs. Not everything has a perfect ending, not everything resolves in one comic or like in the movies. Not all outcomes are good. That is what makes it compelling.
@Jarkes And clearly it wasn’t resolved as episodes have popped up after that with even Lily questioning Spike’s trust in Starlight that “everything is fine.” Relationships aren’t that simple and it’s nice to see something take that kind of care as this series has.
Like how the Spike x Starlight stuff was allegedly “resolved off-screen with a single conversation.” THAT obviously threw us a curveball. Among other things.
Like what?
Maybe this will be when that comes back up? There’s a lot of stuff in this comic that we initially thought wasn’t going anywhere but then it did.
I’m not convinced. There is a chance with this storyline here, but I am fully expecting for it to go absolutely nowhere. The comic’s not given me confidence not to.
We shall see.
…Well, they did seem to completely forget about that time he saved Cheerilee from a different sleaze. I know this comic tends to be a slow burn with its storylines, but come on.
Meh. Don’t expect anything. I don’t. Zephyr Breeze is the only character I actually care about in this comic, and that’s because it’s so determined to paint him in the wrong that it loops right back for me and I want to root for him out of sheer spite.
Yes
But, that would ruin Fluttershy’s car! And luggage! And any drugs she was keeping in the trunk!
