That’s why you should read the books and not watch the anime, at least you’ll skip the filler episodes like you would with… let’s say, Dragon Ball Z ! You can read in half an hour what would take 3 hours or so to watch in the anime

I tried to watch Naruto Shippuden last week. It was basically protagonists standing around shouting at the antagonists, pointless flashbacks most of which are repeats and nothing really progressing until about 3 episodes later. Not forgetting to mention the awful scripting, reused animation and plotholes.

Why is this shit popular?
