But this is a NES knockoff. Of course the NES would have inferior sound quality compared to the SNES. And therefore so would its knockoffs.

From my understanding it had 5 sound channels rather than the 8 SNES was capable of and while SNES had 64kb sound that could boot from SRAM the Dendy had to emulate some of the sound itself in much the same way a Genesis would creating some sounds that were more “tinny” and would echo.

I never owned one though so I wouldn’t really know.
