It makes me really happy to see other people making fan art of these two because spike deserves some love sphinx now what I think would be cute is an image of spike and the sphinx going on adventures together or maybe even an entire comic about them would be cool too.

Spike does actually look older, looking closer. And though the size difference might be fudged, it still looks great. They’re good touches.
Here’s some background on that. I wanted spike to seem older at first. i threw that idea in a little bit. Another idea was making the sphinx young like spike or making her a ng sphinx but it came out to this. I think it’s okay. Not 100% accurate of course size wise, but what i was going for was for them to be in full view and every detail of both chracters could be made out clearly. Overall pretty cute.
It’s a nice look, though. I guess she’s trying to be accommodating with her size.
