Doesn’t look nearly as bad as the examples from before
They’ve been doing these since season 1…

your current filter. They started reveling in those new lower angle faces, but I can’t get used to them. And the switch from the standard looks to the new ones is jarring. These aren’t muzzles anymore, just a nose and a mouth.
Someone already mentioned it after the first trailer, for some reason they’re trying to copy the style of the movie, where they have these tiny muzzles.
But in the movie the nose and the mouth were attached, they were part of a whole. In the show they’re copying the vague idea of a small nose, but it’s completely detached from the mouth, and it all looks completely wrong.
It reminds me of the broken hindlegs many artists draw in the fandom, they know that ponies have some kind of lump back there, but they don’t know how legs work, and end up drawing legs that don’t make any fucking sense with a misplaced lump. Here the animators are drawing a face with a small nose and they don’t even know what that small nose is supposed to be. It’s painful to see professional artists being so incredibly bad at their work.
