To me it’s a bummer that Ganon’s castle doesn’t become a perfectly flat pancake anymore as it collapses. But maybe that’s just me.

Me too, plus the boardering makes it safer.

Only thing I dislike about the 3DS version is it kinda messes up the animation for Ganondorf’s transformation into Ganon.

I always liked the upgrade to the sage’s bridge in OOT3D. Lot fancier than the original N64 one.
