Huh? The collection on iTunes and Spotify are the soundtracks (it’s the same thing), it depends entirely on Hasbro to release the OSTs.
Expect for holidays ones. And Sony in charge of the music releases thx to them we didn’t get the score made by Danny Ingram
They kinda stop doing the soundtracks due to releasing the collection on iTunes and Spotify and thx to the hacks we might not get the mlp movie score
Songs are usually recorded fully beforehand.
Just like Diamond Tiara’s reprise in We’ll Make Our Mark, it was recorded but never used in the episode.
Hopefully we’ll get official soundtracks for all the songs (full version)
BTW we should stop with that topic since this upload is about the EG opening theme, let’s stay on topic.

Also cuz they are working on season 3 and 4 right now maybe a 5 it could be the last under DHX due to Hasbro moving production to Boulder media so the G2 EG will be made there and trust me Boulder is a quiet lesser known studio and you won’t hear anything from them
That’s the possibility cuz we might see G2 version of EG. If you’re going end FIM then end current EG with a senior year shorts and specials
Nah, the leaks stated the crew has plans for EG… even after FiM ended, possibly running alongside G5.
I know it just they are so focused on The main brand Equestria Girls is officially on the back burner like LPS 2012

Some fans won’t watch both FiM and EG at the same time for some reasons.
The next special Me, My Selfie and I is coming soon anyway…
Hasbro never cared much about advertising the actual contents of any of their franchises but the merchandise.
They did share the links of every EG short on Instagram stories, Facebook posts officially tho.
Also thanks to the Family Go App shorts are not hype like they used to now, due to season 8 starting

M8 Forgotten Friendship had about 7 promos prior to its release.
I don’t think so cuz they never put much effort in promoting EG let alone made commercials for it
It’s lacking just enough of that Disney Tween Vibe to keep it good the whole time.
I really liked that song too, I’m definitely waiting for it soon.
