I’ve been in and out of keeping an eye on vore for nearly a decade, and I’ve noticed that many artists tend to switch gears after a while. I’ve watched cuddly non fatal artists slowly turn all their new uploads into fatal works with cruel preds and I’ve seen artists who insisted on everything being fatal suddenly have galleries full of endo. Sometimes they just get bored, but usually the case is they end up getting into a relationship with someone who’s tastes are on the other end of the spectrum, and they sort of get dragged along for the ride.
There needs to be so much more of this

Is that “canon”? There are jokes about death in that comic and it was actually made by the artist we draws the character.
