Silverstream is perfect. She’s just the right amount of bubbly and hyper. Pinkie Pie can be annoying sometimes especially with forced comedy relief. Silverstream is a few notches below her which is perfect for me.

Everything about Pinkie is actually true. But, still, she’s adorable so she is third place in my list of favorite mane 6.

Not true. Even though I like her, Pinkie Pie drives me nuts at times. I like all of the Mane 6 but Pinkie’s is on the bottom of my list of favorites for that very reason.
 
Also my friends (who are also fans of the show but don’t have accounts here) don’t like her. One even despises her to the point she complains about her whenever she appears.

I honestly like Gabby, Skystar, and Silverstream more and I find them to be less obnoxious than Pinkie Pie. And I think I have a few reasons why.
 
The first would be that they don’t seem to go into full blown asshole territory with their childish behavior and sometimes not getting any reprocussions for that behavior, and sometimes even being rewarded for said behavior (e.g. Pinkie mocking Luna and making everyone scared of her on purpose for shits and giggles or her harassing Cranky Doodle Donkey).
 
The other reasons why are voice related. They don’t yell and scream as much as Pinkie does when they’re happy and excited. Pinkie’s screaming is pretty obnoxious in my opinion. Their voices are also not as high pitched compared to Pinkie. High Pitched Voice + Lots of Screaming = Driving People Up The Wall.
 
I think Andrea may have done both of those things to make Pinkie’s voice more different compared to Fluttershy’s, especially in later seasons. I recall a few moments in season 1 where Pinkie would sound slightly like Fluttershy as well as the vice versa (e.g. Fluttershy cheering after Rainbow Dash made her Sonic Rainboom), so she probably tried her best to make sure the two of them sounded as different as possible.

Gallus and Silverstream would make a great couple. A grumpy, cynical but light-heated male and an over the top energetic female would make a dynamic and entertaining pair.
