That’s the most vain thing I have ever heard. These guys moaned about a show so much that people had to see it to see how serious they were, said show ends up getting a collosal fanbase, and THEY expect to recieve credit for it?

Did they create the characters on the show? Did they do the brilliant animation? Did they provide voices that fill the characters with personality?
No they did not. So whoever is saying “I made MLP popular” needs to get a reality check.

This was the place that bemoaned her working on the series as “the death of creator-directed animation.” That wasn’t the thing that got her all worked up, that was an article in Ms. Magazine that said the show was racist and sexist to which she wrote a response piece that did. Both helped start it out, /co/ couldn’t believe people could take it so seriously.

But that quote was in reference to one of her friends’ animation projects being negatively received there.
