It all depends on whether or not it makes sense. Her being bisexual is unlikely but it would make sense as long as it was written well and her lack of previous interests in females was acknowledged. Her being completely homosexual on the other hand would make no sense whatsoever.
Since when is sexuality an attribute that makes a character better or worse?
