“Wow, this took a while, but darn I’m proud of it. This began with me wondering what the Mane Six would look like if they were colored like the breeds of horses we see in the real world. After a bit of speculation, it had to be drawn. So, going from left to right we have:

Notoriously Divine Tagger - Consistently uploads images above and beyond the minimum tag requirements. And/or additionally, bringing over the original description from the source if the image has one. Does NOT apply to the uploader adding several to a dozen tags after originally uploading with minimum to bare tagging.

I love seeing MLP characters reinterpreted as real-life horses like this. It’s always interesting seeing what coat colors and patters artists match to their designs and personalities.
 
This take is one of my favorites that I’ve seen. The only other one I like as much is dennyvixen’s interpretations of the mane six and Sunset:

I like this and it be interesting to see in a show. Also fun fact the white was also called imperial or royal horses as pure white horses where reserved and bread for royal, nobility and military use. It’s ironic that Rarity is one in the picture as that in real life she would have been the hardest trained and worked horse of all of them. Lol
