yeah, snappiness is the key to the really fluid animations, IMO. there’s a great video on it (though you might want to ignore the junk about “symbols” since that’s just that particular program’s way of animating groups of things.) the actual technique used was pretty eye-opening for me: asymmetry for snappiness, key frames spaced farther to indicate acceleration and momentum, and… stuff.

Huh, that’s a good point. Honestly I just did this without looking at anything before hand, “wingin’ it” so to say… I’ll keep that in mind whenever I do this again.
