Description
This was taken when I was deployed in Iraq and I was saying goodbye to some friends when I noticed this guy’s cot. My friends are members of the British Royal Engineers and this was their second to last day in Iraq so I just had to get a picture with this British Brony. I asked him if he was a fan of MLP and all the other engineers in the tent said “Yes, he’s a big fan.” I then told them that I was to. Their faces were hilarious when they saw I was a Brony as well. This photo just goes to show that even in the crappiest of situations you’re never too far from the herd.

The difference is that soldiers are undisciplined pukes. Airmen are just civilians in a spiffy uniform. Sailors are at least disciplined because of the facts of serving on a warship. Marines are the US’s elite fighting force.
It’s probably related to the size of the countries. And even here in the states they’re all branches of the Department of Defense.
The rivalry is probably because you pick which branch you join, so people might think of what branch they join, so they’re already comparing the branches in their head before they join any.
Try visiting the Wawel Castle and the Castle in Pieskowa Skała. Also, Wieliczka salt mines are great tourist spots ^_-
Definitely will. I especially like learning about history.

Boy it’s funny to see that the US has such a strong rivalry issue with USAF not being the “army”. In my country all the divisions, air force, marine force, troops, mechanized, everything is part of the “army” and they’re just specialized Divisions.

The easiest way to know is that Air Force OCP tapes are a shade of tan that is impossible to read for some fucking reason, as opposed to the Army/Navy having black like normal people.

There is no AFI on bedding, once you are out of basic and tech school, they only care that things look neat.

Yeah it’s all part of that “Total Force Initiative” that leadership is so obsessed with, though I will say I would take OCP’s over our stupid “digital tigerstripe” any day, I am just waiting until they fully authorize it for regular wear…
