Yeah thats how I saw this episode too, i was a bit heart broken seeing him break like that

Twilight just needed to do what most celebs do with socially awkward fans. Make them feel more comfortable around them. I’ve been to many cons where voice actors meet people like Star Tracker, but instead of keeping quiet at the awkwardness they are doing, they open more up to them and help them into a comfort zone. Twilight instead just bottled up her aggravation and then vented on him just from an accident.
 
If this doesn’t stop she might have to start bottling up her emotions like Starlight XD
 
Lesson here: “Don’t be afraid to express your feelings even if you think it might make the other person feel bad. If they truly care about you they will understand and give you some space.”
 
Thankfully everything worked out in the end and Tracker learns to stand up and also keep his cool around someone popular.

This is why I never go to a con. If something bad happens, I’ll end up acting like poor Tracker.

He was too broken by his idol tearing him a new one to do little more that become a sobbing mess. It was incredibly sweet to see twilight’s family consoling him after her outburst, because at the end of the day, he was still rather young and just an innocent fan.

I’m really thankful they didn’t make this guy a douche or anything. It’s so rare to see akwardness done sensibly. This moment was just bad things all happening at once and was quite sad. Thankfully he didn’t make it worse by saying anything mean back.

fair point, let me rephrase then. his carelessness may have been the reason why twi stepped on his hoof, but he didn’t deserve the over-the-top verbal thrashing afterwards. thankfully, twilight did end up owning up and apologizing and star tracker was willing to stand up for her afterwards so i guess no harm done.

hey, it doesn’t come naturally to everyone. if you’ve ever met a teenage boy at a brony convention, you’ve met star tracker. doesn’t mean he deserved to be physically abused by her. all she had to do was talk to the guy and make it clear that breathing down people’s necks tends to make them uncomfortable.

I haven’t watched the ep yet, but he looks so cute. :[
