Actually if you looks closely, you will see that her headband is actually headphones XD
 
As for her expression, the original sketch had her iwht Octavia who was reacting with an annoyed expression to something, and Vinyl was basically trying to tell her to chill.

That hairband is an unusual kind of accessory for Vinyl. Maybe she “borrowed” it from someone else whose other signature accessories are pink? Or maybe she’s just expanding her wardrobe? The new choker is unusual but looks good, and that gold trim also works! But her expression says “Yes, I did it on purpose and what are you going to do about it but I already know what you’re going to do about it and I’m amused by your so-uncool attempts at retribution anyways because they’re going to completely fail and I’ll get away with it but I enjoy watching your pain so I’ll hang around for a little bit.”
