Chinese dragon is mistakes translation
Loong is Official translation
There are so many mistakes in the translation name of loong
For example, Buddhism will “Naga”(the snake spirits in India) translated into Chinese
They will be “Naga” translated as “Loong”
i think it’s purposeful smear
The mistakes translation Derivative the mistakes story and Accusation to Imposed on the loong
This is cause of Chinese now have a lot of misconceptions about loong

If the Chinese Empire lives on becoming a great space civilization. I imagine they will be like those space sci-fi fantasy games where certain alien cultures have strong social hierarchy, advanced but ancient culture and religions, wear strange clothes and armors, weird spaceships, and may even still bladed or energy melee weapons.
Our language even look ‘alien’, one character for each word or meaning, and can be hard to learn which require vocal tones.
However, that would make us more condescending; believe racial superior toward non-Asian Human ethnics and Aliens. We even once referred as “Celestials” and our country “Celestial Empire.”
And who knows, we might even eat alien creatures as exotic delicacies and medicine and even stable food for the commoners.
Nah, not really. Also Chinese dragons, man.
Jin was the dynasty founded by the Sima clan whom you might know from the Dynasty Warriors games. They may have united the empire for a brief time before years of chaos ensued that resulted in northern China being conquered by various non-Han people. The Mongol-Turkic Xianbei confederacy eventually united the north and formed the Northern Wei Dynasty. While many Han Chinese fled to the south. Thus a series of Northern and Southern Dynasties rose and fell during the next few centuries.
Most of the fabric of classical Chinese culture developed during the later half of the Zhou Dynasty era before Qin.
The Han Dynasty further advanced those cultural elements.

I always felt that Korean architecture is somewhere between Chinese and Japanese.
Like the Japanese, Koreans traditionally sat and slept on the ground.
There are many cultural heritages that originated in ancient China. Many people often mistake it for belonging to Japan or Korea
china architectural style and clothing styles have experienced many changes in the long history
japan has also experienced changes
But japanese architectural style and china not off the relationship
Many Chinese, Japanese and Koreans themselves will be misunderstood and confused
Such as clogs(geta), most chinese people do not know the earliest to wear clogs is the chinese people themselves, also do not know this shoe so far in china there are still some area people will wear
So People other than Asians are confused about this is also reasonable
Actually, the architecture of the town and the palace was one of the details that generally had more of a Chinese influence.

Zhou Dynasty used a system similar to the Medieval European and Japanese feudalism where nobles were granted land to manage. But when the Qin Dynasty took over, the system was all but abolished for the rest of Chinese history.
Gee, I wonder how much valuable history and ideas the Qin Dynasty burned in their rampage against opposing ideas?
I wouldn’t mind if MLP turned their equivalent of China into a evil empire.
C’mon man! A nation and people that was allegedly founded and descended from a personified dragon. Dragonic motifs and emblems, as well as a gigantic seemingly impregnable defensive system of walls that protect the empire from the outside world? I’m sure those fit the criteria for your typical fantasy empires right?
Conceptually, they belong to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty

Or China would still be unified but not in a way we like. I mean by powerful foreign invasion; picked us off one at a time.
The Greek city-states was united as Greece only after being conquered by Macedonians and then Romans.
I heard India was once actually several states within until the British took over.
All done by ‘divide and conquer.’
Had states Zhao, Wei, Han, Qi, Yan, or Chu beat Qin state during the Warring States period.
China might not be called “China”.
Hell, we might see even numerous different countries in the region today. Historians had described that each of the states, while all claimed to be the same people, had started to each develop their own distinct cultures.
Funny thing is. Liu Bang was born into peasantry as opposed to all the previous dynasty starters that were of defined noble families. I like how legend writers made him seem like the Dragonborn

Good point.
I wonder if other people in world has changeable ethnic names.
huaxia is the name of this civilization
Unfortunately, “Han” is stuck to us. Non-Han people has already recognized that name as us and it’s in every Chinese cultural books.
If the overlord Xiang Yu defeated Liu Bang, the Han nationality may be renamed Chu nationality
“Huaren” is more modern sounding.

“Hua”? Some refer them as “Xia”; or “Huaxia” as a whole. I’ve never heard of Yanhuang. An ethnic name older than “Huaxia?” Sounds primordial and more ancient.
We still refer to ourselves as the Hua people though.
Huaxia was what our Han ethnicity was known as prior to the Han Dynasty. And even before that, our ancestors called themselves the Yanhuang the original confederation of tribes founded by the Yellow Emperor that lived along the Yellow River.
Living terracotta armies, great spooky idea.
I have similar idea myself. What would be great is if First Emperor/Empress somehow free from the tombs try to reclaim the empire.
